Motorcycle rally report for Division 16 "Watts Up" by Joseph
"Beemer Biker" Stateson
I took part in a 12 hour our motorcycle rally on May 1, 2004 at Marble Falls.
This was a type of scavenger hunt where we had to collect points by visiting
interesting locations about Texas and then dividing the point total by the
mileage to get a score.

For example a photo of yourself in front of the Bush library in college station was worth 25 points, and another 100 if you could get the current President Bush to hold your rally flag when taking the picture. There was a mandatory checkpoint in Del Rio and the trip from Marble Falls to Del Rio went thru some of the most scenic Texas hill country. The riders meeting at 6am was during a heavy rainstorm with nearby lightening and by the time we left at 7am it was still raining hard. The rally benefited the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and you can get more info about it here http://tinyurl.com/6r2jq
