Our Rider of the Week is Bobby Theis

Bobby is 56 and is a designer, works with electronics in Div. 14 Applied Science.
Bobby started riding 2 wheelers in high school with a 62 Cushman Super Eagle, which he traded for a 54 Triumph 650. Other bikes thru the years have been a 66 Yamaha 250 Big Bear, a 69 Honda 450 Scrambler, a 77 Kawasaki 400, an 82 Yamaha 650 Maxim, an 82 Yamaha 750 Maxim which all led to his present bike which is a 95 Kawasaki 800 Vulcan.
His wife, lila also works at SWRI in the same Division, so the Vulcan is only ridden occasionally to work and for easy going trips (solo or with Lila).
Bobby has worked at SWRI since March of 75, and married 2 months later, has 2 daughters grown and married; the youngest also works at SWRI as a research analyst.
Besides motorcycles, Bobby enjoys his 91 Supra, playing guitar, astronomy, fixing things, audio & multi-track recording, taking care of the pool & yard, cooking & barbecuing, gardening, golf, snow skiing, tennis and STOUT BRITISH BEER.
